VA3GAK Gerald Andrew Kocha
KOCHA, Gerald Andrew - Passed away suddenly at home, at the age of 66.
Predeceased by his parents Epifany and Elizabeth Kocha (nee Lukij).
He will be deeply missed by his brother Walter Kocha and sister-in-law Mary Packowski.
Gerald had a tremendous love and affection for, and was adored by his three nieces: Christa, Katrinka and Ilyana Kocha.
He graduated from Brock University and obtained an advanced degree in International Relations in Sweden.
He had a wide range of experiences that included that of a Junior Officer in the Canadian Army, the military reserves subsequently and in immigration.
He was a Licensed Private Investigator a trained Paralegal. He had a great love of learning, most recently completing a chef's course. He spent his latter years in security. He was a dedicated and unstinting caretaker for both of his parents in the last years of their lives.
Gerry was also an avid Ham Radio operator. Angelo VA3ACO, introduced him to The 350 Group and was active till he down sized into a condo and put an end to his HF privileges.

There will be no funeral service as per his wishes.
Arnold St.Amand of Collingwood Ont. passed Sept 1st
Arnold was a member of the senior controller team for ONTARS
and will be sadly missed by all amateur radio operators.
We are sad to announce the passing of a dear friend Norm Albert Richardson of Englehart Ont. better known to us as VE3NLH/VE3HIQ, Norm past away at his home of a heart attack at the age of 45 on June 6th 2012.
